In September of 2022, we welcomed a Tornjak puppy to the farmstead. Ola was born in Croatia and travelled all the way to Michigan to be a guardian for us. As a livestock guardian, she was raised inside the house with daily interaction around the farm and livestock. She now spends most of her time outside keeping coyotes and other predators at bat, but has remained incredibly friendly towards humans, which is the way we like out guardians!

We are tentatively pending a litter for Ola in 2025, subject to full health testing of her and her potential mate.
